Many people at RMS do not celebrate Christmas, Halloween, or Thanksgiving, but celebrate different holidays! Please write about a favorite holiday that you celebrate in your culture. What is your favorite part of that holiday? How do you celebrate that holiday? What is your favorite holiday memory? If you do celebrate Christmas, Halloween, or Thanksgiving: share your favorite holiday memory.
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving, because it's a great way to see family. My Thanksgiving is special because of my awesome family. My grandpa is the oldest boy of 13, so over 100 people come every year. No one is a only child, which makes it even bigger. Since it's so big there are some interesting people in the mix. Three of my cousins are pro athletes, one got eighth place in the long distance for the Olympics. My great grandma died two years ago, since then people have stopped coming. I am very worried that my family might stop doing this, I'm not that worried because it's everybody else's favorite holiday too. Last year it was the 70th anniversary and we were on the news. This is my favorite holiday not only because of whats above but just the idea of getting together to celebrate and give thanks.

My favorite holiday is Christmas because we have all of our family over and celebrate together. And also because we get such a long break from school.
